Classification of Hazardous Substances and Preparations
The European Directive 92/32/EEC,
implemented in Italy by D.Lgs. 52/97 and 90/98, respectively, updates the rules to be applied for the classification, packaging, and labeling of Hazardous Substances and Directive 88/379/EEC and establishes a
similar rule set for Hazardous Preparations. Labels with the proper symbols and Risk- and Safety-phrases are to be applied for all Hazardous Products, while those ones intended for professional use also require the
preparation of a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS). The services offered by KONSULENZA include:
- Classification of Substances and Preparations according to the current European legislation
- Definition of required symbols and corresponding Risk- and Safety-phrases
- Issuing of Material Safety Data Sheets according to the legal requirements
- Preparation of the multi-lingual version of the label (available in all official languages of the European Community) and of MSDSs (available
