Registration of Hazardous Preparations
The Italian Decreto
Ministeriale of April 19, 2000 establishes the creation of a database for Hazardous Preparations in Italy. The Istituto Superiore della Sanità is in charge of the implementation of this
project. Its internet site internet (www.iss.it) - in part in English - provides on page "http://151.99.179.21/iss/index.phtml" more information on this issue together with software to be used for preparing the requested electronic standard format for the data transmission. The services offered by KONSULENZA include:
- Preparation of the data to be transmitted based on the electronic files available to the client in various formats (Excel, Access,
WORD, DB3, etc.) or from paper (product lists, catalogs, etc.).
- Checking of the technical feasibility and plausibility of product composition, verifying of the classification of the preparation,
controlling of CAS-numbers and listing on EINECS for the single components
- Transformation of the data into the requested electronic standard format for data transmission, preferably via CD-ROM
- Handling of any correspondence with the Istituto Superiore della Sanità regarding the registration process
