Transport of Hazardous Materials / Dangerous Goods
The European Directive
96/35/EEC, implemented in Italy by D.Lgs. 40/00, introduces the role of a ”Hazardous Goods Adviser”, that can be either an officer of the company or an external person. For the transport of Hazardous
Material/Dangerous Goods in Europe various regulations apply: ADR – road; RID – train; ADNR – river or channel; IMDG/IMO – sea; IATA – air. The services offered by KONSULENZA- cover all these different
modes of transportation and all classes/divisions and include:
- Delegation as external Hazardous Goods Advisor and complete services to manage all requirements
- Training of the internal ”Hazardous Goods Officer”
- Assistance and support of the Hazardous Goods Officer with operational duties such as writing the annual report, assistance in case
of accidents, internal audits, etc.
- Classification of products in respect to the relevant regulation, definition of packaging standards, elaboration of standards
regarding labeling and marking, and training of operational staff
- Integration of the procedures for the proper shipment of Hazardous Material / Dangerous Goods into the clients' systems.
